Where I want to be.
The other day I had the opportunity to go to the temple to do baptisms for the dead with these fine people! I have to say, it was probably one of the most spiritual temple experiences I have had! All three of these boys have mission calls and are preparing to leave. They had the opportunity of performing the baptisms and confirmations for us!
The fog was crazy that day, I couldn't believe it! As we were acceding up the crazy hill to the Bountiful temple, the fog became clearer. Soon we were above the fog and in sight of the temple. It was breathing how beautiful it was! The sun was setting with yellows and oranges and pinks, all we could see was the outline Antelope Island in the distance, the city was completely covered in fog, and the light of the temple was shining so bright. I honestly felt like I was in heaven. And what better people to be with then 3 future missionaries and an amazing friend! I could just feel the spirit and the love of Christ so strong around us. Not to mention I felt soo blessed. How blessed we are to live in such a beautiful world. How blessed I am to be friends with these worthy priesthood holders that are such examples to me, and set my standards so high for my future spouse. How blessed we are to have the opportunity to live so close to the temple to do his holy work. I love the temple with all my heart. In the crazy times of the world and in life, the temple is where I want to be. And it is my ultimate goal to someday be there with a husband and family. I strive to be worthy to go inside everyday, and know by doing so I will have even more of these blessings! THE CHURCH IS TRUE!
Also, haha I just wanted to write about my lovely date to the "Glow in the Dark" Novelty Dance with this kid, Ammon Harris! I don't even know where to begin to tell you how much fun it was. This picture pretty much sums it up. First for our day activity, he kidnapped me for breakfast in the morning and we decorated these lovely shirts( which was suppose to be a unicorn when we stood next to each other, but we didn't take into count our height difference haha). He later lost my shirt, found it in the snow, came and got me for the dance, gave me my wet shirt, and took this hot pictures! hahah We then went to McDonald with our group and had a lovely candle lit dinner:) We headed to the dance and had an absolute blast dancing crazy and even doing some pretty cool tricks. Definitely one of my top favorite dates ever. I am so grateful for the amazing boys at Davis High School and the chance to get to know them. High school has been so much fun with boys like this one!! Such fun memories!
With Love,
Miss Madi Mans
